此展在乌克兰不仅知名，而且已成为品牌，2004年此展获得UFI（国际展览联盟）认证，并在基辅最大的国际展览中心举办。上届展会共有来自乌克兰、澳大利亚、丹麦、英国、美国、俄罗斯、波兰、立陶宛、瑞典、匈牙利、土耳其、意大利、法国、以色列、白俄罗斯20多个国家的一千多家企业共同参与，39,219名来自波兰、俄罗斯、捷克、斯洛伐克、匈牙利、罗马尼亚、德国等十几个国家的建筑承包单位、房地产开发商、建材生产、贸易、批发商以及相关协会和组织前来参观采购。
乌克兰国内灯泡市场年需求量大约在1.5-1.7亿支，其中以进口品牌为主，自产品牌为辅。乌克兰照明界人士认为，其本国产品市场占有率下降是由两个原因造成的：一是乌克兰产品缺乏国际知名度，无市场竞争力；二是一些进口商低价报关，以倾销价攫取乌克兰市场。为我国出口乌克兰创造了更好的条件。
